I've been asked to make a quilt for someone's daughter's wedding. She wants to incorporate pictures of her daughter in the quilt so I'm looking for a simple, easy idea. Does anyone have any ideas or links? It will be a wall hanging, I'm thinking; maybe 36" or so, incorporating 4 or 5 photographs, perhaps in 6 or 8 inch blocks. Something along those lines, and I'm flexible.
Any ideas?
Hope all is well. I always like the Ohio Star (12" version). The variation I like uses four flying geese blocks for the star points and 4 squares for the negative corner spaces. There is one big square in the middle. Alex Anderson does the star a lot and it could highlight a photo nicely.
