This quilt has become a challenge. The colors are different from those I normally use. Here I've put up some different fat quarters in those colors. I think they coordinate well but will they overwhelm the applique if I put them in CQ blocks?
Any thoughts?
I love your fabrics, but I feel they are too dark and strong for the center piece, and take away from it. I would go a lighter shade of one or more colours from your center squares,such as a light green or pink. You could also use the white or off-white of the center piece. I do find the patterned banding a little distracting, and it pulls my eye away from the four center blocks. Just IMHO.
