Park City Girl: Quilt Festival - Fall 2009
Here's my entry for the Bloggers' Quilt Festival:
I made this small wall quilt a few years ago. If you notice, some of the blocks are turned the wrong way. Oh well! Nothing is perfect.
There's no particularly interesting story behind it. Just a little wall hanging that I like and I think is kind of old-fashioned and cheerful.
However, I must say I like the way the quilting turned out on this piece. I prefer handquilting, which is why I usually make small quilts. I've quilted some twin and crib size quilts by myself but since I never got the hang of quilting in a frame, I just baste and quilt without one.
Suddenly I have an urge to tackle some UFOs. I'll show a couple of projects that I was very passionate about and now I'm equally passionate about finishing them.
Thanks for stopping by! Please leave a comment, even if it's to say "Meh! Boring quilt!" and please come again.
It is beautiful!
