Seemed like a good idea initially but as I progressed they seemed to overwhelm the rest of the quilt. Learned a lot from this experience. There may be no rules but there are strong suggestions! :-) Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08453645332115977645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6927532632550104086.post-80633639855728805912013-01-14T13:23:47.576-05:002013-01-14T13:23:47.576-05:00You made it into a true heirloom.
You are so right...You made it into a true heirloom.
You are so right about the white patches around the center, it was the first thing that caught my eye. It looked like a star. I'm glad you changed it.
Congratulations on this finish!Marjoleinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06241078034098499847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6927532632550104086.post-22635165511781005502013-01-13T13:44:23.692-05:002013-01-13T13:44:23.692-05:00That's the most important thing: that you have...That's the most important thing: that you have created from love, honoring memories and the people close to your heart. This has been a labour born of love and respect, and to have your quilt hanging in your home, where you can see those special women every day, and remember the times you've shared creating with them, and learning from them, will be wonderful.Suztatshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15703965965474209546noreply@blogger.com
